Go Jazz!

What a crazy last few weeks!! With Thanksgiving, Finals coming up, Jazz, Work, Pregnant Dog...ahhhh life can get a little overwhelming sometimes. Anyways I just got some fun pictures back from the Jazz and thought I would share them with you guys.. so before we get to those just a quick update.. Nebula is 5-6 weeks pregnant which means she should be having puppies any day now! probably over the weekend or early next week! How exciting.. I'm a little nervous.. I hope she will get through it ok..ohhhh puppies.. That is gonna throw a whole new stress in the mix lol. Thanksgiving was awesome!! I love my family! We were so glad to spend Thanksgiving with the Jensen side of the fam!! It is always a good time.

Hahah Jordan and I decided to have a weekend getaway after Thanksgiving to try and escape! Well, my Mom had a few free nights stay in Wendover and neither of us had ever been so it sounded like a fun opportunity. Friday night we drove out to Wendover and a couple of Jordans friends were going out the same weekend. We watched them play black jack and Texas Hold em for a bit and then went up to the room and watched ESPN. Ohhhh and how could I forget to mention that we had to go straight to the room when we got there to see the Jazz win the Lakers!!! wooot wooot!! GO JAZZ!! :) ...anyways.. the next morning we went to Burger King and decided to check out all that Wendover had to offer.. Smiths, Casinos, Strip Club, Blue Boutique and liquor store! How exciting... we were supposed to stay til sunday but after almost a full 24 hours in Wendover we decided we had seen all there was to see. It is not exactly the relaxing getaway we were hoping for, and if you don't drink or gamble (which we don't) it does not have much to offer lol. I did think it was funny though... I never got ID'd once in the casinos where you must be over 21 (which I'm not) but we stopped in Blue Boutique (where you must be atleast 18 to enter, which I am) to see if there was any good shopping (total failure) and they kicked me out because I left my ID at the hotel... and I was unable to prove my age. ohhhh jeez. That was the highlight of the trip.. hahaha.. BUUUT we did get to spend some quality time with my mom which was fun!! However, I'm not sure if we will be heading back to Wendover any time soon. I am a little bummed because I forgot to run to the gift shop and buy a cheesy mug (Jordan and I have a tradition to buy a cheesy mug from every "vacation spot")

...anyways on to the Jazz pics.. enjoy!

Nicole, Syd, Sam, Chenelle, Malorie

Funny story about this pic... I think this is me The closest dancer in the pic.. but I have NOOO Idea.. any guesses? It could totally be someone else.. but it is a cute pic of all the girls so I will keep it up either way! :)
All the girls!!

Update!!

What??? A post from the Young Ohana?? haha I feel like I have not even thought about the blog for a while.. I need to get back on the train!

Anyways thought I would give a quick update.

well lets just start with the family :) Jordan and I have had the stomach flu this week. YUCK!! It has been miserable to say the least!! lots of sprite and saltines! Somehow I still made it through my dance classes and practice.. but only at the saving grace of close garbage cans to puke in.

ughhh.

As far as the "kids" go...

Nebula and Romeo are both in heat so we are breeding
them now because she is finally old enough!! Romeo finally figured it out and they made "tie" or got stuck together for the first time the other day! It was hilarious.. well at least Jordan and I thought so.. They were kind of freaked out. I was so happy for them I whipped out the video camera but after watching the video back.. I decided not to share my doggie porn with the world. I'm not sure if Romeo and Nebula would be comfortable with that. So sorry..

*awkward*

moving on..

Jordan is finding success in his new online business which is fun!! It is finally starting to get established and not cause quite as much stress.

The dance studio on the other hand.... we are still in the trial and error process and seeing which classes work and which don't. It's stressful but we are slowly figuring it out. ..I hope.

Other news:

Jamie, Sydney and I were asked to do a commercial for GoDaddy.com for the SUPERBOWL!! It is actually part of a commercial contest.. you can check it out at godaddy.com it was a "flash dance"/"Chris Farley" theme haha it was hilarious and SOO MUCH FUN!! I have not yet been able to find the direct link so you can check it out and vote for it but as soon as I do I will post it!! We were filming all day and seriously got to work with some amazing people! The film company we worked with has shot commercials for a lot of major companies so cross your fingers that this one wins!! If it does it will play at half time of the super bowl..

Thursday October 7 was our first preseason Jazz game!! It was such a blast!! We played Portland. So far the Jazz are 7-0 for the preseason!! WOOOHOOOO!! I know we are going to ROCK this year!! undefeated..(and yes we beat the Lakers twice!!)

here are a couple pictures I stole from Syd's facebook because we all know how great I am at forgetting my camera everywhere!!

The girls all went to Chili's after the game to celebrate!!

Next game is this coming Friday the 22!! I will post a home game schedule soon of the games I will be dancing in so you guys can come!! :)

October games I am dancing in-
Friday 22 (Preseason)
Thursday 28 (Season Opener)

Cowabunga Bay

Here are a few pictures from our end of year season ticket holder party at Cowabunga Bay!!! It was a blast. It was so fun to meet all of the fans, and there was tons of FOOD (my favorite part).

These kids convinced Harley to take a picture with them... and he didnt know this but they planned it with perfect timing so that HUUUUGE bucket of water would dump all over him.. it was HILARIOUS!

Cowabunga Bay is such a fun water park! We all had a great time...

Waxing!!

This week we had a girls outing, and as all good days do, this on began at Cafe Rio!! Dean, Braden, Erika, Caitlyn, Kendra, and Chenelle ate at Rio and after the girls decided to head over to sally's to get some things to pamper with!!.. We found waxing kits, and a face mask... and I'm sure we could have left with many more items but we all somehow had great self control! Next it was waxing time!!

Erika and Caitlyn showing off their new wax kits!

Chenelle teaching them how to use it!!
Oh how exciting removing facial hair can be!!

If only I had pictures of them rubbing their faces for the rest of the day. They just couldn't get over how smooth their skin felt! it was awesome!! Next we finished off the day with a trip to Nordstrom. A long stop at the MAC counter, a trip to Vans and Torrid, and a carmel freeze sample later we all left with something fun!!

What a day!! This was awesome! I wish I would have gotten more pictures but we only seemed to remember the camera when we had hopes of catching someones pained expression as their mustache was being ripped off.....dang.

Pictures!!!

So One of our sponsors for the Blaze (Radiance Salon) asked me if I would be interested in doing a photoshoot with Jordan. It sounded like fun so yesterday morning Jordan and I got up bright and early and met up with the photographers. They did a lot of portrait style photos which is awesome because now we have some great "family" photos! :) We also did a few dance shots just for fun! Here are some of my favorites!!

Timeline Part 2:

Okay so part two...

We start in dance class. This is one of my Friday morning jazz dance classes for beginners. These two were the only ones here and they are identical twins. Hailey and Jenna, they are hilarious and saw my camera and we could not resist a photo shoot!.

(Jenna, Hailey)
Hailey wanted to give the camera a try and told me to strike my best model pose.. this is the best I could do lol.

("Okay jenna, time to dance now, that's enough.")

("Okay seriously you two, stop giving eachother the camera...Hailey give it back please.")

Later that week Dean and Erika came over to help us install a wall mount for our new tv. It's a good thing we had them there to help because I don't know if Jordan and I could have done it on our own....

What I mean by this is... it is a good thing Dean and Jordan where there to do all the work while Erika and I did what we do best... watched and took pictures. haha

Workin hard!! Keep it up!
All put back together! Yay thanks again for your help Dean and Erika, you rock.

Jordan and I decided to have a little gathering at our house with Pizza and family to wish Cohlton good luck on his summer adventure to Seattle (which has turned in to more of a cross country voyage!!) I am so proud of him for taking initiative and doing something great with his summer. He is workin hard!!
How could Arianna possibly resist putting a lovely drink umbrella in Bradens hair!
Lookin Good.

Erika and Dianna

The whole fam.

The Man of the Hour...Cohlton!!! and Grandpa of course.

Erika and Dean brought over their Wii so we could play Nintendo after dinner!! So FUN!

Overall it was a great night!!! Good Luck Cohlton!! I hope he has a great experience.
